Sometimes the phrases pros use in those sort of situations can be very amusing. I recall hearing of one pro who dropped to local leagues after effectively retiring and he questioned a ref's decision. When the ref asked him what he just said the pro replied "*** deaf as well as blind are you?"

Of course, nowadays that would be a yellow card offence for most refs.
