All very well to think about these teams which defend and spoil, but if an opponent merely sits back, their goal is going to come under heavy siege. We have players who can shoot from further out, through a crowd (how many players did Philogene beat for his 2nd goal?), plus those who can drive in and draw fouls. With a somewhat stronger midfield and RFB to help prevent opposition breakaways.
The issue in some of the early games was lacking teeth in the final third. Now we have a better-practiced bite - and some confidence - it should be easier to make an impression. |  |

I think for the first twenty minutes or so Sheffield were marginally the better side with their high press causing us some problems. Once we scored we came more into the game and they completely folded after the second!
