very solid today, but in particular was the cool head getting his defence out of a few hairy moments. Really took control when we needed him to.*

Well played boyo 👌

*and he is a goalie that can catch, something Nodge don’t seem to have 😆

Yes, he did want he needed to do. He had no chance with their goal. A solid display, took a good cross in the second half when under pressure too. I don’t think our defenders help him with some of the balls they play back to him, in fact our passing from the back was woeful at times.

Poll: Where are we going to finish?

Agreed, I commented as much a couple of weeks ago. He's clearly been working hard on his game with the ball at his feet. I have been rather vocal about how bad he was at dealing with playing at the back since he came in. Today I had much more confidence in him from the off, after his last few performances.

I was absolutely worried about us getting into a lot of trouble asking him to play the ball, rather than hoof it earlier in the season. I now think he'll do just fine for us this year. I'm still not sure he's the one for us if we do make it back up though. That's not a now problem though!

Also think having Kipre in front of him might be giving him confidence. Defence seems calmer with him in place.
