If I were an opposition manager I would let us attack and catch us on the counter attack. We have been awful against the counter all season.

The gamble there is of course as an opposition team you could very easily find yourself 2 or 3 nil down. From our point view, currently the defence is vulnerable, midfield aren’t breaking up play in the same way Morsy and Luongo did and we’ve really yet to see anything of note from Akpom or Azon. Hirst isn’t firing on all cylinders which he did so well when linking up with Chaplin and Burns. | | | |

Think we’ll be a different prospect once the right hand side is sorted. Charlton gave us a lot of space to attack down there and it didn’t feel like we threatened. Keep Davis and Clarke or Philogene occupied at the moment and we’re pretty toothless.
When it hopefully clicks it shouldn’t matter what plans anyone makes, should be too strong with too many options in attack.
Burns will help and I think Walle-Egeli will come good, shame he didn’t start against Charlton, think he’d have enjoyed the space offered. McAteer, let’s see.
