Really hope we can put a sustained run together now, Tuesday will be tough though with new manager bounce Watford. If we can get two wins before the international break and the Boro/Coventry hiccup continues that would be great.

| Sunday mornings always better with a win on 09:09 - Nov 2 with 423 views | Churchman | They are. Especially as this one is first day back from hols. I hope we start putting a run together too. But this season reminds me very much of the first half of 2021/2022 under Cook. One week battering Portsmouth away the next a rubbish draw with Cheltenham or somebody. Patchy, but I think that first away win was vital. Better players than most of the rest that season, but a forming team. It took months and a manager change to form that side the dismals now beat McKenna over the head with. I wish people were more patient, but I can whistle dixie for that. Of course Hirst was going to get goals. He’s a good all round player and I hope he wasn’t jeered off this week. Of course Egeli is going to be a good player. From the goal clips yesterday and what I’ve seen of him he’s with every penny of what we paid for him. He’s got the lot and will play Premier League football with us or somebody else one day. In the meantime, I think he will grow into the team as fast as Hutchinson did. I agree, two wins would be great and really fire our season. But if it doesn’t happen, I won’t be surprised. This team is coming together. | | | |

Agree with what you say, Egeli literally getting better game by game, wouldn't be at all surprised by a set back tomorrow as that seems to be the way this season has gone. Other than Coventry it seems this league is fairly wide open, like last time around momentum will be key.
