McKenna places too much emphasis on 'minutes'. How can a player get into a good run of form if they know they'll be dropped every time there's a midweek game (despite being taken off on 60 minutes the game before).

to get into form and consistency, players need to play. If you play well, you should play the next game. If Leif Davis can play week in week out, with the running he has to do, I don't see why any of the other players would need or want to rest.
you can't make 5 or 6 changes every week and expect consistency. It reeks of trying to please everyone. They all signed on the promise they'll get minutes, but 25 players can't play every match. |  | | |
