If you are being picky, we should have scored a few more and really seen off the game. But Stoke, like Cov, are a really good attacking team. Barring the 5 to 10 mins post goal, they barely had a sniff.
Furlong had the toughest job today but did more than enough and Dara and Kipre are looking like a very, very solid pairing now.
Davis is Davis but, moreover, he is looking more and more like the Davis we know....a winger. He and Jaden are working really well.
Egeli a touch off it tonight but some of his raking passes were great. I felt for him though, a few times he made great runs and we never used him, Nunez ignored him a few times.

Egeli kept great width. That time Nunez didn't use him when he should have done, the TV coverage was perfect. We had a throw on the far side and Egeli came right over to the near side line. If we had switched it quicker he would have had a clear run on goal. As it is, it fell to Nunez who should have fed him in on goal but shot instead.
The other thing about Egeli that really impresses me is how good he is defensively. |  |

A really really good 3 points tonight. Absolutely solid at the back i thought. And Matisuwa, what a display in midfield. The number of times he read the opponents pass before they actually made it, and so intercepted the ball was phenomenal. He broke up Stoke's play all night long. What a signing!
Meant to say, for me, Stoke are a far better team than Coventry who I feel flatter to deceive ...I like Mark Robins, and think hes a good manager, playing nice attacking football. [Post edited 10 Dec 22:53]
