Southampton, that club with 5 million managers and spending half what we have the last 2 seasons, one result away from going above us if they beat us. Someone needs to tell them you can’t change manager and be succesful. Maybe they like the rain, or just have a better training ground. We were excellent first half today, but poor second, we lost the intensity…, years since we had that level of pressing for a full game - something clearly dysfunctional on the coaching side last two years…, they made changes to formation and we couldn’t adjust! ALL our forward players on, and zero control of the ball summed us up. That Walton save - best I’ve seen in years, and Mats is too good for this league - we need promotion if only to retain his quality .., the rest was standard KM, not good enough based on the support he’s had for last two years.., Neil another manager who gets more from less. We need to stop pretending there isn’t about 8 managers in this league maybe more doing exactly that. And this isn’t an elite level. Only Ashton lays a manger Barcelona level wages to be ‘decent’ in the EFL.., it’s never happened before, and it won’t happen again. Not a single seconds elite experience when that (panic) decision was made. Worst decision in the clubs entire history (if) we don’t go up. Irrespective of outcome, that was such a poor decision, the journey ended that day, and panic and chaos took over .., pay him commensurate with potential.., and with success.., not based on hysteria and media hyperbole. It’s like giving Leif Roberto Carlos wages because ‘he’s a good player’ - sake. Anyway .., break will do us good - massive April ahead .., let’s go!!

You could have gone 3 ahead of Millwall with a game in hand and better goal difference and finally capitalize on a Boro slip up. We were the home team, winning at HT and have been second for a matter of days this year. A win would have been huge going in to the Int break, we need to stop taking so much heart from Boro when we don’t get over the line ourselves. April is a gauntlet and we have at least 2 ridiculously tough away games. Finishing the season with 3 back to back midweeks. Play Boro of limited rest at home etc. The mentality of our fanbase is so pretty weird sometimes! Huge opportunity missed. [Post edited 21 Mar 15:54]

These games against them represent opportunities but also risks. Beating us in a one off game is their best chance to go up. I'd take a draw against both and back us to outscore them in the other games. But that's only my view.
