Nearly got caught out as mine gave a very convincing replica Gov.UK site to enter details on - I didn’t, as the amount they asked for was incorrect (£20, not £35) and in any case I was appealing, not paying, having actually paid for parking at the time but got the car registration wrong (yeah yeah, only bought it 4 months ago!).

I had one that was generic and gave no details.
If it doesn't say the registration plate, the time and place of the offence then it must be a scam. If any one of those details doesn't line up then it's a scam.
I reported mine as spam. |  |

I don't know about anyone else, but trying to forward it to 7726 to report it as phishing as you're supposed to didn't work - got the green 'not delivered' Android thing from iPhone. Therefore simply reported it as junk, blocked & deleted instead. | |
