Last prem season 18:20 - Jun 25 with 595 views

Been watching some hightlights. No reason other than i got excited when on sky the town badge comes up under football & prem. Its the small things lol.

Anyways.

First morsy... watching games back you realise how far off he was as a prem player. Ive watched about 8 goals conceded and he was a yard off either the scorer or the assister.

Anyways hirst. He was such a different animal. He looked rapid as i remembered he did in that season. Quick turning. Powerful and brought players into the game. Good hold up too. Didnt score like delap but he looked good. Not sure what happened to him last year but when you watch a prem highlight and then one from last year it is like watching two different players. Be interesting to see what hes like after this pre season.

Anyways. Way we played.. watching back. Not a shock we stuggled. So so open. Some of the goals were comical with how easy sides went from their half into our bix to score..

Anyway. Looking forward to seeing next years side.

From memory, Delap was a beast first half of the season before fading. Omari did a few bits. Smozdics scored a handful of goals when he wasn’t injured. Muric cost us at Brentford. Not beating Leicester at home was painful - Morsy should have booted the ball into row Z.

We were lacking pretty much all over the place. Yet still had enough to somewhat/kinda competitive against the “lesser” teams. Narrow defeats home and away to Palace for example. We weren’t disgraced entirely.

For me, the Hirst situation is quite simple. I think he ended up trying to emulate Delap and that has caused all sorts of problems.

	Ade Akinbiyi couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo...
