From the BBC: A report in France had suggested Everton's £40m move for AS Monaco striker Folarin Balogun was off after the striker failed his medical.
The current information at the Everton end, however, is that the Balogun deal is still being worked on as the deadline approaches - but they really need this deal to get over the line with Beto having left for Fiorentina and Iliman Ndiaye on his way to Manchester City.
