At what point in the season did they get respect from pundits and commentators?

Every game so far it feels like plucky little ipswich v a side who performed badly if they didnt beat us.

Yesturday was the man city show

At what point does ipswich become seen as simply a competitive opposition during agames.

Its not a big thing and doesnt really matter but it something that really annoys me.

It is annoying but it's always been the same. As long as we keep putting in good performances and getting wins it doesn't matter what the pundits think.

We live in a world where the BBC gave Coventry 7 out of 10 for their first 5 games and gave us 5 out of 10!

Let's just keep going under the radar!

I don't think people are even saying plucky. They're just not saying anything other than it's been a good start, almost as if we'll fall away as predicted.

The love in for Coventry is predictable because of Frank, and they're all genuinely shocked that Hull haven't lost every game, so they both get more coverage than us.

Yeah. Brooks did that on ssn yesturday. Something like they will definately be down there. He said absolutely no way city werent winning yesturday. Bet we worried him going into those final 12 minutes.

5 months into the season, which was one month before the team got the respect they deserved from all the Sunderland fans - sounds familiar

Sunderland only lost 2 of their first 11 games, whereas we've lost 4 of our first 7 so it's not a like for like comparison tbh. In fact it took them 20 games to lose 4.

I'd say our trajectory is similar to Leeds last season.

Next season.

Assuming we stay up, that's when we'll begin to be treated like we belong in the Prem. There'll be a crop of new bugs to talk down by then.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

I always believe that pundits are pudits because they use there name to screw aliving out of the game, as they are useless at anything else
