Naylor Definitely Out
Naylor Definitely Out
Tuesday, 20th Feb 2001 15:09

Town striker Richard Naylor is definitely out of Saturday's clash with Everton. The copper-topped man of steel has a knee problem which he has had injected.

With Marcus Stewart missing through suspension after his red card against Leeds, Town are more than a bit short up front. There is still little word on the identity of the loanee, although there have been suggestions from Scotland that Celtic's Mark Burchill may be the man, nothing definite though.

Alun Armstrong may well be fit enough to join James Scowcroft up front and Martijn Reuser is another option George Burley could look to. Reuser has played a role behind the main striker in the past when at Ajax. The Town manager could also refuse to extend Richard Logan's loan at Cambridge which is up at the end of the week and give the youngster a try.
