Boss Jim Magilton says the Blues must finish further up the Championship table in 2007/08 than they did last season. The Town manager feels the Blues need to improve their form away from home in particular.

Magilton said: “We have got to finish higher than last season. Anything less will not do.

“A top ten place is where I want to be and this is the aim.

“I would like to be pushing for top six or top two, but let us get into the top ten first and then push on from there.

“I feel we can win at home, and it is important that we improve our form away from home.”

Town start the season with a home game against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday with their first away league match a trip to Plymouth in a week's time. Tuesday sees the Blues travel to the MK Dons for a Carling Cup first round tie.
