Royle Set for Leicester Talks Wednesday, 31st Oct 2007 09:33 Former Town boss Joe Royle has confirmed that he will hold talks with Leicester City later this week regarding the vacant manager's job at the Walkers Stadium. Royle has been out of a job since leaving Portman Road by mutual consent in May 2006. Royle said: "All I know at the minute is that I am due to meet Milan Mandaric later this week. After that we will see what happens." Meanwhile, on-loan midfielder George O'Callaghan is back with Brighton and Hove Albion after recovering from a hamstring injury back at Portman Road. The midfielder is with the Seagulls until January. The ex-Port Vale man says he let his determination to play against his former side get the better of him and consequently aggravated his injury: "It obviously made it a lot worse and I don't think I did myself any favours, but it was a game I was desperate to play in. "I've done myself damage and maybe I should be a bit more experienced to know not to do that, but I had waited so long to go back there and I might never get the chance again. It was a bit of a mistake but it is done now and I just have to get over it." O'Callaghan and fellow loanee Matt Richards have been joined at the Withdean Stadium by former Mainz keeper Jonas Sela, who is on trial with the Sussex club. Sela was with the Blues last week for a similar spell, but appears not to have impressed the Town management.
