![]() Thursday, 22nd Jan 2009 11:14 Brentford boss Andy Scott has ruled out Town's Dean Bowditch rejoining the Bees. Bowditch spent three months on loan at Griffin Park before recently returning to the Blues. Scott said: "I spoke to Dean on Tuesday, as well as Jim Magilton and Steve McCall at Ipswich. "But Dean was in their squad on Saturday, and the message I got was he's very much in their thoughts. "That's the trouble with loan players. If they're a success, their club will want them back.†Yesterday, Brentford were linked with a loan move for fellow Town frontman Jordan Rhodes. Meanwhile, ex-Blue Stuart Slater, now 39, has joined Eastern Counties Football League Premier Division side Wivenhoe Town, now managed by his former West Ham team-mate Julian Dicks.
