Academy striker Ronan Murray picked up his eighth Republic of Ireland U19 cap as his side beat hosts San Marino 5-0 in their first European Championships qualifying group match last night.

Murray, who started and played the first 71 minutes, failed to add to his one goal at U19 level.

The Irish youngsters are in action again on Sunday when they face Albania with a match against Italy on Wednesday.
