Garvan Has Considered Moving On Thursday, 11th Mar 2010 15:36
Midfielder Owen Garvan has revealed that he has considered his Town future. The Irish U21 international skipper has been in and out of the side all season, but returned to the team for Tuesday’s 2-0 victory over Cardiff.
The 22-year-old said: “It's crossed my mind about moving on, but that's all. After each season I am the sort of person who looks back over the previous nine months.
“So I'll sit down in the summer and reflect on how it's gone. I have an appetite to do well for Ipswich Town and want to be a success as a footballer. Things change so quickly in this game.”
Dublin-born Garvan is contracted to the Blues until the summer of 2011.

I agree with Bluejim, offer him a seal, If i was debating staying at a club then a comical sea animal would definitly make me stay! But seriously, its a big game Tomorrow for Garvan who should start, got to take his chance when given to him..

The way RK has dealt with OG has been spot on. We now have a midfielder showing his potential once again instead of the clueless midfielder flapping around we had at the beginning of the season. If as some suggest he is pi$$ed at the way RK has dealt with him he needs to grow up and get over it and realize what the man has actually done for him. I hope he stays he is a player I have liked for a long while but has also been so frustrating at times. He'd be a fool to move on as he now has a manager who knows how to get the best out of him something other managers failed to do.

Pity if we lose him. I'm afraid soon there will be no home grown talent left at the club.
