Town’s U18s are in action at Reading’s academy on Saturday morning (KO 11.30am).

The young Blues will be looking to get back to winning ways having failed to record a victory since the FA Youth Cup defeat of Arsenal in January.

Midfielder Luke Hyam (pictured) serves the second game of a two-match ban for accruing 10 bookings, while defender Callum Bennett was red-carded last week in the 0-0 draw with Coventry.

I used to watch Callum Bennet play for Claydon, whilst I was playing for the year below. Some of my mates moved up an age group and played with him, he played upfront and it was fairly common to see him score 6 or 7 goals a game.

He always was a step above just watching him, it would be amazing if he could break into the reserves/bench as he progresses.

Nice red card though eh lol

Phil - Reading's academy.... do you know where this is? Its obviously nowhere near Madejski as this resembles a building site at the moment!

I just called Reading FC and the game will be at the Hogwood training ground:

But they said you might not be able to get in as you have to be connected to a player to go and watch.

I watched the last half hour. 3-2 to Town when I arrived but finished 4-3 to Reading after a couple of soft goals.
