As a card-carrying pessimist I've put this in and we end up 15th. Watford go down and boring boring Scunthorpe stay up by a point.

However at this juncture I should point out (and happily admit) that I'm usually very wrong about these sort of things.

Are you going to tell him or shall I

Oh, and when you manage to keep the Janners up, would you mind returning to FPR with John Carver round about mid June.

It would be nice to have you around...

Our run in is tough on paper, although some of those sides might not have a lot to play for so we should get enough points to stay up. I doubt Palace could catch up 8 points on us (albeit with a game in hand), but anything is possible and there is a lot of work to do.

I agree that staying up is no vindication of the manager, as our objective was promotion and even falling short of the play-offs this season should be considered a failure given the money spent. I do not have confidence in the management team we have to make the right decisions in the summer and to manage the players properly to moult a promotion challenge next year.

Think it might be too close for comfort..just glad that Neil Warnock's not at Palace anymore - he would've probably saved them, can't see them getting many points under Paul Hart.

Tony Mowbray!!!!!! What do you base your views on his selection, his 'expansive football'? Mowbray is making a crap Rangers team look good. Roy is poor but Mowbray would be worse. Anyway dont think he would come to div. 1 where I suspect we are heading barring an attitude transplant.
