A Town U17 team including several trialists drew 2-2 with MLS side the LA Galaxy's youngsters at Playford Road on Friday afternoon.

Town scored two early goals, striker Caolan Lavery netting the first and a trialist the second. The visitors grabbed one back before half-time and the Blues were denied the win when the American tourists netted an equaliser during the second half.

The Galaxy's youngsters travel to play West Ham's youth side tomorrow morning before heading off to Wembley to take in the FA Cup semi-final between Aston Villa and Chelsea.

Town's U18 home league match against Norwich City, which was postponed on 30th January because of a frozen pitch, has been rescheduled for Saturday 1st May at Playford Road, 11am kick-off.
