Midfielder Ed Upson has extended his loan at Barnet to the end of the season. The 20-year-old has already spent a month at Underhill, making one start and three sub appearances.

Upson, who netted Town’s winning goal in the 2005 FA Youth Cup final, scored his first senior goal in the Bees’ 2-1 home defeat to Macclesfield at the weekend, a volley from the edge of the box he described as "a screamer".

The Bury-based youngster is out of contract in the summer and looks unlikely to be offered a new deal by the Blues.
