Charity Screening of Escape to Victory Tuesday, 1st Jun 2010 11:48 The Electric Palace, Harwich is holding a charity screening of Escape to Victory on June 10th to raise money for the Bobby Moore Fund, which raises cash for research into bowel cancer. The screening is in memory of Mick Boyne, who died of cancer last year, and has been organised by his son Graham and Des Lammond. Des told TWTD: “He took us to see the film at the Electric Palace as children and his son Graham and I got the idea of the screening. Although it’s in Mick's memory, the event itself is for all who have been touched by cancer.” The film, which stars several Town heroes of the Robson era alongside Sylvester Stallone and Michael Caine, starts at 7.30 pm with ticket prices set at £5.50 with no concessions as it’s a charity event. Graham is also raising cash for the Bobby Moore Fund via a Just Giving page here.
