Newcastle United fanzine Talk of the Tyne is publishing a Sir Bobby Robson tribute edition on Saturday to mark the first anniversary of the legendary manager's death and are after tributes from Town supporters.

A special email address has been set up to help the editor gather the tributes, so if you’d like to add your contribution to the magazine, which will also appear on their website, email some words to SBRtribute@hotmail.co.uk along with your name.

No point in posting that on here...very few town supporters on TWTD... and certainly none old enough to remember Bobby Robson in any objective way

Have you no shame TractorGeek or are you just in a bad mood today. How can you use a story about the greatest man who ever ran our club to have a go at some of the members on here who are negative more often than they are positive. I'm not a Anti-Keane member and I try to be positive but I respect the members like IpswichElvis who are constantly negative because they have a right to say what they like and at least they stick to their principles however much I may disagree with them. However Sir you have just used a story which has nothing to do with Keane, his lack of scouting knowledge, his tactics or anything simply to have a go at a portion of the town fans. This story is meant for us to be proud of the one of Englands greatest ever managers and you have turned it on its head. SHAME ON YOU.

On to the story, Sir Bobby was simply "LEGEND" and a perfect Gentleman. Yes TractorGeek i'm only 18 so wasnt alive to enjoy his wonderful years in charge but i've seen videos of how we played and i've heard him speak so please don'try and tell me the younger generation don't understand what he means to us all.

What a shambles you are. Using something The death of true legend to have a pop at others. I am only 24 so i have no idea what the Robson years was like but i have read the stories, seen the pictures and watched the videos. I know enough to know that this true gentleman will be sorely missed and there will be no other like him at ITFC again.

RIP great man.

BFB - well put. Just because some of us aren't old enough to remember the glory days doesn't mean we don't have our own memories of the great man. I was fortunate enough to meet him and for the 4 or 5 minutes I spoke to him, he made me feel 8 feet tall, an all too rare gift. Isn't that equally as valid as having been there for the FA and UEFA Cups?

Tractor Geek

I am old enough, I was there for the EUFA campaign home and away from the St Ettienne match, I rarely post but in this case... ...He was a gentleman (a concept you're probably not familiar with), a brilliant coach and you are a tw@t!!
