Academy Schoolboy in Wales Squad

Academy schoolboy Jack Simmons has been named in the Wales squad for European U17 Championships qualifiers in Lithuania later this month.

The Welsh youngsters start the group against Denmark on Wednesday 22nd September, then take on Lithuania on Friday 24th September and complete their fixtures with a game against Belgium on Monday 27th September. The top two teams go through to the elite round of qualifying in spring 2011.

Striker Simmons has been capped twice at U17 level having previously made appearances for the U16s.
