Town, Swansea and Norwich are keeping an eye on Hearts midfielder David Templeton, according to a report in Scotland this morning. Templeton, 21, netted for the Jambos in last night’s 2-0 SPL victory over Celtic at Tynecastle.

Right winger or striker Templeton joined Hearts from Stenhousemuir in January 2007 for £30,000, having spent time on trial at Newcastle in 2006.

The Glaswegian went on loan to Raith Rovers during the second half of the 2007/08 season and over the last year has established himself as a regular for the Edinburgh side, signing a contract until the summer of 2013 earlier this year.

Templeton, who is 5ft 9in tall, has won two caps at U21 level, having previously represented Scotland’s U17s and U19s.

meekreech added 15:46 - Nov 11 Whoppit We are in 7th place level on points with others above us . Do you not look at the results from other games and think to consider them in context ? The teams around us are all dropping points ( generally to teams below them ) so even though we are not being consistent neither are the others ! This shows a levelling out of the standards in this league so do not prejudge our team against QPR or Cardiff . As for the Derby result we must give them credit for the professional way they conned the ref into so many free kicks !

Also Jennings is decent midfield cover from the same club for 50-60k. I got a striker for free (worth 1.4mil) plays for congo, (koroma i think his name is)
