Town Linked With Hearts Winger
Town Linked With Hearts Winger
Thursday, 11th Nov 2010 09:58

Town, Swansea and Norwich are keeping an eye on Hearts midfielder David Templeton, according to a report in Scotland this morning. Templeton, 21, netted for the Jambos in last night’s 2-0 SPL victory over Celtic at Tynecastle.

Right winger or striker Templeton joined Hearts from Stenhousemuir in January 2007 for £30,000, having spent time on trial at Newcastle in 2006.

The Glaswegian went on loan to Raith Rovers during the second half of the 2007/08 season and over the last year has established himself as a regular for the Edinburgh side, signing a contract until the summer of 2013 earlier this year.

Templeton, who is 5ft 9in tall, has won two caps at U21 level, having previously represented Scotland’s U17s and U19s.

Do we need another young winger ? When we dont play the one we have on loan and keep swapping sides of our experienced winger making him less effective

Murray is a good young right winger, can also play up front.
Lambe is in the same boat. Throw in Peters and we are well stocked for cover for Edwards.
Spend £££ where it is needed, RB please!!!

Another attacking midfielder? We don't need one. We have got lots of cover in that area. We need a striker!!!!!! We have only 2 inform strikers at the mo and with Connor failing to produce we don't have any cover for injuries or suspensions.

So we are one of three clubs linked? Hmmmm, let me see. Does he go to a club with real promotion credentials or does he come to us - a mid table rudderless ship and take his chances with a nutjob clueless manager. Bye Davey !!!!

I've just bought him for Ipswich on FM2011, which is usually a good judge of how good players are, he's pretty quick, good on the ball and weighs in with goals. If we can get him go for it!

Come on people how many times have we been linked with players? It's a total non story...

Whoppit

We are in 7th place level on points with others above us . Do you not look at the results from other games and think to consider them in context ? The teams around us are all dropping points ( generally to teams below them ) so even though we are not being consistent neither are the others ! This shows a levelling out of the standards in this league so do not prejudge our team against QPR or Cardiff . As for the Derby result we must give them credit for the professional way they conned the ref into so many free kicks !

@Ipswichjon

On FM2011 (I got it last week), I recently bought John Sutton from Hearts/motherwell I cant remember which. He is a striker and about 200k. Also Jennings is decent midfield cover from the same club for 50-60k.
I got a striker for free (worth 1.4mil) plays for congo, (koroma i think his name is)
