Priskin Nets in Hungarian Victory

Tamás Priskin scored and Márton Fülöp kept a clean sheet as Hungary beat Lithuania 2-0 in a friendly in Budapest this evening. The Hungarian duo were amongst a number of Town players in international action.

Striker Priskin came on at half-time to win his 30th cap and netted his eighth international goal when he his side in front in the 61st minute. Fülöp won his 22nd cap.

Loanee defender Darren O’Dea made his first start for the Republic of Ireland and won his third cap as they lost 2-1 to Norway in Dublin.

The Celtic man, who was playing his first game since his knee operation a month ago, played for 67 minutes before being replaced. Former Blue Jon Walters came on at half-time to make his full international debut.

Defender Troy Brown won his first Wales U21 cap as his side beat Austria 1-0 in Newport. Brown came on as a 56th minute sub.

Academy duo Josh Carson and Caolan Lavery won their first Northern Ireland U21 caps from the bench as their side lost 3-1 to Scotland at Partick Thistle's Firhill.

Anyone who knows Football, and I do mean know Football - knows full well that Priskin is a quality player.
He is like many, many more players, who needs to be playing in a team, and of course for a Manager, that plays to his strengths.

All he needs - I assure you.
