1st impression...."oh my God its going to be a cricket score" Having thought about it for a minute, will be a great day out for the fans IF we set about it correctly and take the game to them, with 2 strikers and attacking football with players in the right positions, Edwards and Townsend on the wings and full backs looking to get forward.... if we line up like that, with a good attitude....whatever happens we will of given it a go. If not, my 1st impression will be the right one.

Also, a new Manager by this fixture please..... My 6 week old baby is available and would do a better job than Keane.

rayman 10 - sounds like you're gonna have a great day. Actually the fact that ONE Ipswich supporter is feeling optimistic about ANYTHING, let alone anything related to football, is the one happy chime I have heard today.
I think Chelsea will be a useful test for how we will fare next season, back in the Premiership, at the culmination of Keane's two year plan.

Yeah.......ok........

I can't even cheer myself up with the thought that my dad knows any rich blokes.

Keane is a useless tit! Good for nothing and serving this club with dire management! He has to go! FORK!

I may just get a single trip up there on the train, and turn to a chelsea supporter. On some brighter news at least we can worry about the league after this game. COYB.

If we play like today we could make history for the largest defeat in clubs history. That said its a game to look forward to, especially if we have a new manager by then!

What a bunch of miserable gits we are on this forum. The supporters of any other N-Power club would be delighted to have such a big cup draw. Yes today was humiliating, yes my support for RK has been shattered (over the last few weeks), but I will be supporting our club long after he has gone and I pray that Mr Evans values the support of true fans more than the media coverage offered by a manager that has failed.

devontractorboy added 01:11 - Nov 29
Well I think it's a great draw, lets just hope by January:
1. Roy Keane's gone
2. We've signed 12 new players
3. John Terry, Drogba, Malouda, Lampard, etc all have flu
Then we 'may' have a chance!!

It will be the Chelsea youth team so we should be able to keep the score down to single figures.
