![]() Thursday, 2nd Jun 2011 11:19 Town loanee Jimmy Bullard is reported to be holding talks with QPR regarding a move to Loftus Road today. Neil Warnock’s newly-promoted side were regularly represented at Portman Road during the 32-year-old’s hugely successful spell with the Blues, which saw him win the club’s Player of the Year award. Blues boss Paul Jewell is keen to sign his former Wigan player on a permanent basis but has admitted that with Bullard having two years remaining on his £45,000-a-week contract at Hull it would be a very difficult deal for Town to do. Premier League QPR — or Norwich or Wigan who have both also been linked — would find the financial aspects of a move for the one-time England call-up less challenging than the Blues, despite the player himself saying he enjoyed his time at Portman Road and would love to extend his stay if a deal could be done. Meanwhile, exiting Nottingham Forest striker Nathan Tyson has turned down the chance to join Town and Millwall, according to a report in the Midlands, and is expected to sign for Derby County. Elsewhere, former Blue John Kennedy, 32, has joined Bury Town, having been released by Cambridge City, while ex-reserves skipper Justin Miller, 30, has returned to Chelmsford City having left Rushden and Diamonds.
