![]() Tuesday, 23rd Aug 2011 19:35 Town trialist Ibrahima Sonko says this afternoon’s 1-1 reserves draw with Colchester at Playford Road went well and he’s waiting to see what happens next. The 30-year-old former Reading and Stoke centre-half, who TWTD was first to reveal was on trial earlier today, played the full 90 minutes of the behind-closed-doors friendly. Sonko tweeted: “Game went well. Now I do not know what's going to happen, we can just wait and cross fingers that everyone [is] happy like I am.” A free agent having been released by Stoke at the end of 2010/11, the Senegalese international spent pre-season with his old club Reading but was unable to agree a deal with the Royals. Former Blues keeper Richard Wright was also in the reserves side facing the U's this afternoon.
