Carlos Edwards picked up his 80th Trinidad and Tobago cap as his side beat Barbados 2-0 in Bridgetown overnight. Goals from Keon Daniel and Darryl Roberts in each half saw the Soca Warriors to victory.

Edwards played at left-back for Otto Pfister’s side, who now top their World Cup second round qualifying group.

Meanwhile, Jaime Peters was an unused sub as Canada, who also top their World Cup group, beat Puerto Rico 3-0 in Bayamón.
