Town’s U18s are in action against Charlton at Playford Road on Saturday morning (KO 11am). The young Blues will be looking for a win ahead of Tuesday’s third round FA Youth Cup tie against Leeds at Portman Road, for which TWTD is one of the associate sponsors.

Russell Osman,a guest on Saturday's Life's a Pitch, includes trialist goalkeeper Dan O’Neil from Maidstone United in his squad as back-up to first choice Conor O’Donnell, with Cody Cropper too old to play in the Youth Cup and likely to be involved with the first team this weekend.

Schoolboy midfielder Byron Lawrence has been named in the U18s party, making it less likely he’ll be involved with the senior squad this weekend, despite training with Paul Jewell’s players this week.
