Keane Off to Turkey Sunday, 30th Sep 2012 11:41
Former Town boss Roy Keane is set for a return to management with Turkish side Kasimpasa, according to various reports. Elsewhere in this morning’s tabloids the Blues are linked with a loan move for a Manchester City midfielder, who has already moved on elsewhere.
Keane has been out of management since leaving Portman Road in January 2011 but is said to be on the verge of joining the Turkish top flight side, who are based in Istanbul, in the next couple of days.
Last week’s failed move for Blackpool-bound QPR striker DJ Campbell is reported in one of this morning’s papers, while Manchester City’s Abdul Razak — who impressed against Town while with Brighton last season - is claimed to be joining the Blues on loan, however, Charlton confirmed his signing yesterday.
Elsewhere, Town have paid Brentford £4,000 to formalise the signing of 14-year-old schoolboy Daniel Muamba, the younger brother of former Bolton man Fabrice, who has been with the academy for some while.

Mark makes a really good point ( Have our ambitions been slashed without the fans explicitly being told?). By the fact that PJ is still at PR (when many clubs would have fired him weeks ago) tells me that the club has re-evalued their promotion ambitions. PJ won't be fired, he is more likely to walk away from the job as ME tightens the squeeze on costs - could it be that ME is in financial difficulty

Could it be that ME is really in for the long haul (as we have always been told) and is prepared to wait for a couple of years when ALL the clubs in the Championship will have to abide by the fair play rules.

Good Luck RK agree not the best man manager as he lacks tact and diplomacy but record not as bad as the current clown whose press conferences are always the same old excuses. RK was very honest albeit as ineffective well almost.

Here is what some intellectualTurks think: "Work mentality is an attitude that emerges by the effect of values and knowledge that individuals, groups and institutions attain as the result of personal experience and cultural inheritance within a dynamic interaction and determines and explains the behaviors, interpersonal relations, tools, processes, structures, and systems used by these actors in order to reach their goals and changes depending on time and place" (Aldemir, Arbak and Özmen, 2003). No, I don't really know what it means either! But put together "work mentality," "attitude," "cultural inheritance", "behaviors," and "reach[ing] their goals" with "Keane" and "Turkey" and the results are bound to be interesting. Three months max.? (I wonder if they'll let the dogs in?)
