Orr Looking Forward to Facing Leicester Friday, 16th Nov 2012 06:00 New loan signing Bradley Orr is in line to make his Ipswich debut at Leicester tomorrow and admitted: “It would be a good game to go into.” Orr has not played against the Foxes this season, missing Blackburn’s 2-1 win over them at Ewood Park in August through injury, but he rates them highly. He said: “I had a slight knock in the build-up to that game and we decided it would be best for me to pull out. I sat and watched the game and Leicester are up near the top of the league for a reason. “They are organised, they have some very good players and they have a manager who knows this division well.” Orr brings with him a wealth of experience from his time at Bristol City (255 games), QPR (43) and Blackburn (24) as Town seek to climb out of the Championship drop zone and head towards mid-table. But ask the Liverpool-born defender, uncle of Anfield right-back John Flanagan, about his main assets as a player and he shows a modest side to an otherwise upbeat nature. He said: “To be honest I’ve never been fond of people who blow their own trumpets, brag or boast. I’ll let other people decide about my good points. “The manager must see some sort of quality in me because he has made the decision to bring me here. I’m just looking to give it my best shot and if that’s good enough, great. “I certainly won’t fail through lack of effort or commitment. I suppose my main attribute is my attitude and my fight for the cause. Hopefully that will bring something different, some sort of positivity, to the team.” Photo: ITFC
