Town Need Home Run Saturday, 16th Feb 2013 06:02 Town must look to cash in on home advantage, according to defender Luke Chambers, as they face two games in the space of just three days at Portman Road. Saturday’s clash against Blackpool will be followed by a visit from promotion-chasing Watford next Tuesday and a maximum haul of six points would provide a massive morale-booster for Mick McCarthy and his men. Chambers said: “Coming off the back of our previous home game, when we beat Middlesbrough 4-0, we are going into Saturday’s game in confident mood. “The lads are looking forward to playing the games in quick succession because we haven’t had that for a few months now. It gives us a chance to get two good results going into the game at Huddersfield on Saturday week.” But Chambers is reluctant to look too far ahead and is adamant that he and his colleagues must focus 100 per cent on the visit of a Blackpool side with two wins from their last three outings. He added: “It’s always a different type of game when you play against Blackpool. They have had some success with their sort of gung-ho style of attacking and playing, and I think they have some good players right through their team. “We know with every team that comes to our place and every time we go to an away ground it is always going to be a battle, which you’ve got to win first and foremost. “At the same time, you are working your socks off trying to outrun and outwork your opponents. When you get chances you’ve got to make the most of them. It’s small details really.”
