Tabb's Loan Extended

Midfielder Jay Tabb's loan from Reading has been extended into a second month, which will see him remain at Town until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old made three starts and one sub appearance in his first 28-day spell at Portman Road.

The former Republic of Ireland U21 international is out of contract with the Royals at the end of the season.

If he stays and continues to show his worth, think it would be a no brainer about offering him a contract at the end of the season. Providing he wants to saty, of course!

I agree that i don't think he's a natural left midfielder but i'd say that about Lee Martin too. Think in the summer we need a goalkeeper and two wingers as a must.

Warkys_Tash added 13:26 - Apr 4 I really like what I have seen so far.. he is defo wearing Micky Stockwells old shorts though. from the stand at first I thought they might be his Dad's. If he can add some goals to his game then, he could be the new Stockwell.

StowTractorBoy added 13:47 - Apr 4 There is no doubt we missed him in the starting line up at Millwall as he adds a different perspective to Martin who although tries very and did put over a couple of decent crosses does not have the compusure of Tabb. Good news in my opinion but then MM does not get too much wrong.
