![]() Tuesday, 9th Apr 2013 20:55 Teams and supporters are wanted for a charity five-a-side football tournament in aid of Camille’s Appeal being staged at Needham Market’s Bloomfields on Sunday 5th May. The tournament will be played out over one day with each team placed into a group of four. Following the group stage, there will be knock-out rounds before the champions are crowned. The charge per player is £6 and each team can register up to seven players. Both substitutes can be used in each game. The matches will consist of two five-minute halves with any draws in the knock-out stages going straight to a penalty shoot-out. Camille’s Appeal is a children’s brain tumour charity that is working to provide vital rehabilitation services to these children following brain tumour treatment. The charity was founded by Camille’s parents Martin and Hayley shortly after Camille was diagnosed with her tumour. Camille is now six and in full-time education and getting on with her young life although she does need assistance.
