Town’s new home kit has gone on general sale online and at Planet Blue. The strip is also available at the Blues’ stand at the Suffolk Show for the next two days, Stand 755.

You can buy the kit online here with short-sleeved shirts costing £42.99 for adults and £31.99 for children.

Long-sleeved shirts and blue shorts, which will be worn if there is a clash with the opposition’s, are also available this season.

I do not know why anyone would buy these anymore at these prices when they can wait 8 months and get it for half the cost or less due to them changing every season.

I do not like the fact we are doing this to our family supporters, changing the strips every season is just not a very Ipswich thing to do.

Has this increased the clubs revenue at all?

Ordered mine, agree that the price is a bit on the high side. But it supports the club so I'm happy to go without food this week lol

I do like the new kits,I'll admit. Though I was happy & liked the kits from last season. I'm sure the kit only lasted 1 season. I thought clubs were going to keep kits for at least 2 seasons. I also agree that they cost too much & shirts are just glorified t-shirts really. We're in hard times & I know the club has big debts but I believe the kits should be cheaper. Especially as kids want, want, want all the time but parents should say no! You'll stick with the same kit for a while longer, little brats! So ITFC, lower prices & keep kits for longer eh. Next season will see another bloody change with a new kit supplier and poss more expensive again. Come on Town, sort it out!! Puma would be my choice for new kit makers, would be nice I think.

£43 per kit per year? somebody's laughing at us.

The price of the kit is ridiculous for a Championship team. Do like it though so i'll end up treating myself. Just torn between the home or away shirt?

I really like the new strip but I loved the old one too - I thought the club said that strips would be used for at least TWO seasons?

Is this a joint cash in by Mitre (out of contract this season) and Town?

Adidas 2014/15 all the way for me btw!!!

Love the new shirt, white sleeves, nice touch, bit of class, better than that sick yellow/green mix!!!!!!

Just remember though guys, as the debate often rages on, a certain type of fan normally buys the shirt at release (me included) and probably always will no matter how often changed. With the financial fair play the club would have to be stupid to release it every 2 years because to get the same revenue they would have to sell at £85 or £90 and no one would buy that! I know its a shame we can't remain the loyal old club but we were one of the last to give in and release a new shirt every year and as long as the financial rules remain we just have to accept that the club has to change with the sad new times in order to have any chance of being competitive.

Think this is a nice shirt, which again raises the issue of constantly changing them, if we find one the majority approve of, it is only going to be changed a year down the line anyway!

Nice shirts, shame about the cheap iron on badge and stars. What's wrong with the embodied badge we have had on previous shirts, they look so much better.

actually LOVE our kits this season, but why are they so expensive? surely if they lower the price, they will sell more, and get more money as people will be more likely to pay for it?

Well, just seen the shirt at the Town tent at the Suffolk Show. It really is a nice design...like it a lot...but wont be buying one...the quality of manufacture does not equate to doshing out £43. Why have they gone for a stick on badge...really cheapens the whole thing...wont last more than a few washes. Really think I would feel cheated if I bought one.

Great looking shirt but I hate the yearly kit changes. Football keeps on bleeding the fans dry.

Bought my 13 year old son one yesterday, the largest kids size is 13/14, its too small so now need to pay another tenner to get one that fits him! - As said above it is a nice shirt, but the stick on badge should really make them cheaper and perhaps a 15/16 kids size would be a good option to give teenagers a chance to afford one!

Just received mine...lovely shirt..my only gripe is that for £47.99 (inc p&p) I was expecting a proper badge and not an ironed on one which will crack in time.

Hope ITFC sort that out with our next kit provider next season.

Lovely shirt as previously stated but £43 for an iron on badge (now every year) is just short of a outrage.

Didn't realise it's an iron-on badge. Not good enough for £43.
