New Boy Jordan One for the Future Saturday, 24th Aug 2013 06:05 Blues boss Mick McCarthy says new signing Jordan Adekunle is very much one for the future. The 18-year-old signed a one-year deal at Portman Road earlier in the week after a trial, having impressed the Town manager while playing for his former club Crawley against the Blues in pre-season. McCarthy said: “He’s got potential, anybody who saw the Crawley game, he went past Elliott Hewitt in the last 10 minutes as if Elliott wasn’t there. He’s really quick and pacey. “It’s a chance, a chance for him, it’s a chance for us. He’s been training with us and he’s done fine. “It’s one of those, you have a go and it might just turn out to be something good for both of us. Let’s hope it does.”
