Hughton Happy at Norwich
Hughton Happy at Norwich
Thursday, 12th Sep 2013 14:57

Norwich City boss Chris Hughton has joined his Leeds counterpart Brian McDermott in distancing himself from the vacant Republic of Ireland manager’s job. Previous incumbent Giovanni Trapattoni left the role by mutual consent yesterday.

Ex-Ireland international Hughton said: "I'm Norwich City manager, the fans and the board have been incredibly supportive to me and I am very happy here."

Hughton and McDermott, along with Blues boss Mick McCarthy, ex-Town manager Roy Keane and Martin O’Neill, were amongst those listed as potential candidates by FAI chief executive John Delaney yesterday.

Chris Hughton is an excellent manager. He will comfortably keep the budgies in PL this season.
The odds are on O Neill to take the job. The sooner that is announced the better for us!

You can't just slam Hughton for being the Norwich manager, he's an excellent manager. Looks like the odds on favorite is O'Neill though.

I will say now whatever he decides to do "thank you, Super Mick" for saving our Club last season and begining to rebuilding work in a meanigful way.
