![]() Tuesday, 8th Jan 2002 23:57 "Expect double standards", that's the message a Nigeria supporters' website has for George Burley when dealing with the Nigerian FA. Burley was unhappy earlier this week when he discovered that other Nigerian Premiership stars were joining their African Nations' Cup squad later than Finidi George. Larry Ashagbe from www.cybereagles.co.uk told TWTD: "My conclusion is George Burley will have to learn how to deal with the Nigerian FA. With the Nigerian FA, it is one rule for one and another for others. Too much double standards. He needs a quick crash course from Arsene Wenger and Arsenal's Nwankwo Kanu and Chelsea's Celestine Babayaro are both able to play in this weekend's Premiership games while Finidi is away with the Nigeria squad not playing in pre-African Nations' Cup friendlies. Their second friendly, with the Ivory Coast on January 12th, now looks in danger due to the cash dispute which caused today's game with Egypt to be cancelled.
