Hunt in For Hyam Only Change
Saturday, 25th Jan 2014 14:37

Stephen Hunt replacing the injured Luke Hyam is Mick McCarthy’s only change as the Blues face Reading at Portman Road. Prospective new loan signing Frazer Richardson has been spotted at the ground with his move from Middlesbrough expected to be confirmed on Monday.

Town look set to start in a 4-4-2 formation with skipper Carlos Edwards starting on the right and Hunt on the left with Ryan Tunnicliffe switching into the middle alongside Cole Skuse. Reading, who beat Bolton 7-1 last week, are unchanged for the third successive game.

Town: Gerken, Chambers, Berra, Smith, Cresswell, Edwards (c), Skuse, Tunnicliffe, Hunt, Murphy, McGoldrick. Subs: Loach, Mings, Tabb, Anderson, Wordsworth, Nouble, Taylor.

Reading: McCarthy, Gunter, Obita, Pearce, Gorkss, Williams, Akpan, McCleary, McAnuff (c), Pogrebnyak, Le Fondre. Subs: Federici, Cummings, Kelly, Hector, J Taylor, Blackman, Drenthe. Referee; Andrew Madley (West Yorkshire).

Glad to see Hunt starting so at least we'll have a bit of width, be interesting to see what Reading turns up today as they have been a bit hit and miss. Desperately need to win this one today if we lose we'll be some way of the final play-off spot.
