New Home Kit Launched Saturday, 3rd May 2014 08:55
Town have launched their new adidas-manufactured home kit, which is available for pre-order from 9am.
The club’s director of retail, Lee Hyde, told the club site that the players were impressed with the new strip, which is reminiscent of the kits worn by Sir Bobby Robson’s sides in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

“It was a job making sure the lads didn’t disappear out of the door with the kit,” he said. “You don’t mind that to be honest, it’s when they’re throwing it back at you that you need to worry!”
The new home shirt can be pre-ordered from ITFC Direct or at Planet Blue for collection from July 8th before general sale starts on Saturday 12th July. The new shirts cost £34.99 (youth) and £44.99 (adult).
Those pre-ordering will receive an invitation to take part in the biggest ever Town team photo alongside the first-team squad at an event during pre-season.

also replacing the kit every year is daylight robbery...the 3 stars does not really represent our history does it :) its just a sales gimmick... every town fan is proud of our trophy haul and i too was at two of the finals but a lot of people in my age group think they look a bit naff ... a vote would be interesting to see the overall opinion....

Boring.....just boring. So similar to every other adidas club that plays in blue. As to fans moaning about ME's logo, remember without him we would be totally in the smelly stuff; so I for one do not have a problem with his logo on the shirt. It's a Chelsea top and totally rubbish. Like many fans also commenting on the frequency of change, I shouldn't worry about it as each season's shirt will look the same with Adidas. Once again..............................VERY BORING!!!!!!!

Not bad, not great, without the ITFC badge it just looks like a standard Adidas training shirt. Not a fan of the two tone collar and sleeve cuffs, just white would give the shirt a sharper look. Really would prefer a collar to, looks far better than a V-Neck! Also feel the Adidas stripes should go down the entire sleeve or just on the shoulders, just seems to be randomly cut off. In the future perhaps more interaction with fans, not just a vote on preconceived kits, but on options such as the shade of blue, colour of sleeves, socks and shorts, collar or no collar etc...

I like it it and I have to say it looks even better up close. It's a much better quality than our recent shirts. The badge is embroided and there's proper venting. Looks a tight fit though! Very glad to have the 3 stripes back!

I absolutely love this kit, the quality shines through and really shows what we've been missing, especially happy to see the embroidered badge back rather then the iron on badge of this season. Proper happy!

It's nice enough, but I'm over buying shirts since they started changing every season. Add in the mad price for youth shirts- £35 for my 10yr old daughter & 7 yr old son. Huh? Really? I struggle to get to many games a year because of price as it is, so I'll just have to continue buying old style ones off Ebay. As for the launch phrase 'Blue. It's in our blood'. Yep, it is in mine, I just wished the administrators of the club felt the same way- Season ticket covert surcharges, ticket office restrictions, high match day ticket prices indicate not.

Welcome back to ITFC , Adidas, let's hope we play like we did in their kits 70s and 80's in the 'Pioneer' years. Hate the stars they are rubbish and agree with the guy who said that if the likes of Liverpool had stars for every major trophy they won then the shirt would look like the us flag. £45 for one season is excessive though, but would like to see Adidas bring out proper retro 78 and 81 shirts and personally the French style Radio Orwell one, think there would be a lot of interest in those rather than the embarrassing copies that have been in the club shop for the last few seasons with 2 stripes.
