 Friday, 16th May 2014 12:05 Town’s pre-season friendly at Colchester United on Wednesday 23rd July will now kick-off at the slightly earlier time of 7.30pm. The Blues have been given an initial allocation of 1,600 by the U’s, although more may be made available. Tickets are yet to go on sale but prices have been set: adults £15, senior citizens £10, Forces £10, disabled £10 (with carer), 18-21 £12, under-18s £10, under-14s £4 and under-8s £2. A list of all Town’s pre-season games announced so far can be found here. Meanwhile, Middlesbrough have confirmed the expected release of Blues loanee Frazer Richardson. Town boss Mick McCarthy says he will weigh-up whether to offer terms to Richardson, Paul Green, who was on loan from Leeds, and Stephen Hunt, who was on a short-term deal, later in the summer. Elsewhere, Blackpool have released former Blue Michael Chopra, who joined them from Town last summer but made only six starts and 14 sub appearances and failed to score.
