New Ipswich Town book Adventures of a Tractor Boy now has its own dedicated website and author Graeme Brooke wants your photos and reviews.

Adventures of a Tractor Boy, Graeme’s tales from his many years following the Blues, was launched last week and so far has sold well.

“It hit the dizzy heights of sixth of 59,000-plus football books, the top 10 Kindle football books and 181st of 43 million-plus all books on Amazon.co.uk’s best seller lists,” Graeme told TWTD.

“Following on from this to support and publicise the book further, its own dedicated website www.adventuresofatractorboy.co.uk has been launched.

“The idea is to provide updates and media links on the book’s progress but more importantly I am trying to create a cult thing by getting people to submit a photo of the book from places around the globe, home and abroad, and also if any well-known person can be persuaded to have their photo taken with it.

“These should be emailed to adventuresofatractorboy@gmail.com. All details are on the website.

“Whilst thanking everyone for their support to date, could I also request those kind enough to have bought the book to please post a review on either Amazon or the website, however brief as this all helps to spread the word and it is all for a good cause.

“One hundred per cent of the profits from the book will be donated to Colchester Special Care Baby Unit at Colchester Hospital who nursed my youngest daughter Leah when she was born eight weeks premature and who is now thankfully a healthy eight-year-old season ticket holder and Junior Blue.”

To read more about the book, visit the website or Facebook page (likes are most welcome), while you can buy a copy from Amazon here. Alternatively, it is available from Greetings & Gifts, 15c High St, Manningtree CO11 1AG (01206 615262).

Hi Bown
A reply from the author - started with Leeds Cup epic in 1974 and then went through to the 2000/01 season as the main focus - the book is then brought up to the McCarthy era in the last couple of chapters - reason being most of my real adventures were pre wife children & mortgage but I am pleased how it all came together in the end - if you go onto amazon you can click to open first few pages inc index
Hope that helps and you enjoy the website that has launched today - shout if I can be any more help. Reviews to date also on the website and amazon

Bought it on Saturday. Really enjoying it. My first live game was the Birmingham game after the West Ham semi 1975, aged 11. Went to Wembley 1978. Lots of memories.
