Tunnicliffe Joins Blackburn Monday, 1st Sep 2014 20:07 Blackburn Rovers are reported to have signed Fulham’s Ryan Tunnicliffe on loan, the Blues also having been linked with a move for the midfielder, who spent the first half of last season on loan at Portman Road. The 21-year-old, who will be with the Lancastrians for the season, has hardly featured since Felix Magath took over at Craven Cottage, having signed from Manchester United in January. Meanwhile, former Town centre-half and ex-Blues academy director Tony Humes has been appointed the new manager of Colchester United following Joe Dunne’s sacking. Humes was previously in charge of Colchester’s youth set-up and has appointed ex-Town academy coach and one-time youth player Richard Hall as his assistant. Recent Town trialist Achille Campion has joined Port Vale on loan from Swedish side Norrby IF. The French-born striker played for the Blues in the friendly at Braintree.
