Nigeria coach Shuaibu Amodu is confident that his side can win this afternoon's African Nations' Cup semi-final against Senegal at the Modibo Keita Stadium in Bamako (KO 4pm, Eurosport).

Even the row over flight money is not distracting Finidi and his fellow Nigerians according to the coach: "The players are ready to forego everything including their legitimate demands in order to win on Thursday."

Garba Lawal, the player linked by his agent last week with a possible move to Town, added: "We have come far. I don't see Senegal or any team stopping us now."

The row over flight payments seems to be reaching some conclusion with Patrick Ekeji, the director of sports development in the sports ministry saying: "We are ready to meet all their legitimate needs."

Nigeria put Senegal out of the last African Nations' Cup at the quarter final stage. Julius Aghahowa scoring the winner in extra-time after the 90 minutes had ended 1-1.

If Senegal beat Nigeria Finidi will be involved in Saturday's third place play-off (4pm, Eurosport).

Should Nigeria win then they will play either hosts Mali or Cameroon on Sunday (KO 4pm, Eurosport). The Cameroon-Mali match is this evening (7pm, Eurosport).
