Town Unchanged Against Charlton
Tuesday, 30th Dec 2014 18:54

Town boss Mick McCarthy has named an unchanged side for the third game running ahead of this evening’s home match against Charlton, however, left-back Tyrone Mings is on the bench.

Mings returns to the 18, after missing the last two games with an infected toe, in place of Matt Clarke, but there’s no place in the matchday squad for Luke Hyam, who has been out of action for a month with an achilles injury.

Loanee Noel Hunt, who scored the dramatic 95th minute winner in the game between the teams at the Valley a month ago, plays the final game of his loan spell before joining Leeds.

Town: Bialkowski, Chambers, Smith, Berra, Parr, Skuse. Tabb, Bishop, Anderson, Murphy, McGoldrick. Subs: Gerken, Mings, Bru, S Hunt, Ambrose, N Hunt, Sammon.

Charlton: Etheridge, Onyewu, Bikey, Ben Haim, Solly, Gudmundsson, Buyens, Jackson, Cousins, Vetokele, Tucudean. Subs: Pope, Wilson, Gomez, Bulot, Fox, Pigott, Ahearne-Grant. Referee: Christopher Kavanagh (Lancashire).

Charlton are sticking with the 3-5-2 from the second half of their Boxing Day game against Cardiff:

Etheridge
Ben-Haim - Bikey - Onyewu
Solly - Buyens - Gudmundsson - Jackson - Cousins
Vetokele - Tucudean

From CharltonLife: "Looks like the fans of 3-5-2 have got their wish."
