Town boss George Burley has said that he will not be making a move for any more players this season ruling out a swoop for St Mirren's Sergei Baltacha. Earlier reports claimed that Town had renewed their interest in the son of the former Town player of the same name.

George Burley said: "We know all about Sergei. I watched him play for the Scotland U21s and we have kept an eye on him, but we will not be bringing in any more players this season. We have sufficient numbers, the strength of the squad is good and we have adequate cover at centre-half. We will review the situation with regard to new signings in the summer."
