Town Stay Third as Bournemouth Lose Wednesday, 25th Feb 2015 22:20 Town remain third in the Championship after fourth-placed Bournemouth lost 2-1 at Nottingham Forest this evening. The Cherries went in front in only the third minute through Andrew Surman but Forest hit back via Jamaal Lascelles and Henri Lansbury on 21 and 44 to claim all three points. Following the midweek fixtures, the Blues (60 points) are five points behind leaders Derby (65), three short of Middlesbrough (63) in second and a point ahead of Bournemouth, fifth-placed Norwich City, who they face in Sunday’s biggest-for-some-while East Anglian derby at Carrow Road, and Watford in sixth (all 59). Seventh-placed Brentford (58) are a point further back. On Saturday, the Rams are at Fulham, Boro are away against Sheffield Wednesday, the Cherries are at home to Blackburn, Watford travel to Leeds and the Bees are at Birmingham.
